EVALUATION OF AUTOMATED MULTI-CHANNEL BLOOD GROUPING APPARATUS. I. PROCEDURE AND REAGENT STANDARDIZATION FOR BLOOD GROUPING.

Abstract

Evaluation of 8- and 15-channel automated blood grouping systems was carried out. The machines were tested using several sources for the reagents. The results were compared to standard tube tests and very few discrepancies were found. The mechanical system did have minor difficulties related to improper sample preparation and occasional internal malfunction. (Author)
