AUTOMATIC SEPARATION OF STRAIN AND PARTICLE SIZE EFFECTS IN EXPERIMENTALLY OBSERVED X-RAY LINE SHAPES.

Abstract

A computer method is described that provides a complete analysis of experimentally observed x-ray line shapes, producing estimates of lattice strain and particle size in a single operation. It is shown that the method produces results comparable with those obtained from the conventional two-stage analysis. (Author)
