Abstract

The book presents the results of the Soviet Marine Expeditions to the Atlantic, Indian, and Pacific Oceans. It also presents new biological data and data on the distribution and systematics of widespread and insufficiently studied fishes: Belonids, Indiacanthids, Bathylogids, and flying fishes. One of the articles is devoted to the overall review of the epipelagic ichthyofauna of the world's oceans. (Author)
