STARTING CHARACTERISTICS OF A CONVERGENT-DIVERGENT DIFFUSER BLADE PASSAGE OF A SUPERSONIC COMPRESSOR IN MACH THREE FLOW,

Abstract

The object of this investigation was to explore experimentally the effects of three-dimensional perturbations on starting characteristics of supersonic diffuser blade passages. Four models were designed and tested in Mach three flow; the designs considered the effect of variations in blade thickness along the radius, and initial wedge angle. (Author)
