THE ACCURACY OF LINEAR AUTOMATIC TRACKING SYSTEMS,

Abstract

Linear, dual-channel, symmetrical tracking systems with conical scan are considered under random noise conditions. System accuracy is examined with due regard for the effect of the periodic component of the input signal on the behavior of the closed loop. Using the spectral theory of stationary random processes, the root-mean-square tracking error is computed as a function of the system parameters and real time.
