THE ROLE OF CHLORIDE ION IN CORROSION. PART I. A BIBLIOGRAPHY ON THE CORROSION OF IRON AND STEEL IN HALIDE MEDIA.

Abstract

As part of an experimental investigation of the role of complex halide ions in corrosion, an extensive bibliography on halide assisted corrosion of iron and aluminum was developed. The references presented here deal with iron and steel exclusive of stainless steels or highly alloyed steels. (Author)
