Abstract

The document considers the Alliance for Progress, enlightened civilian-military administration, and forward-looking Church circles as possible deterrents of leftist and rightist extremism in Ibero-America. These three forces are cited as able to bring about solutions to organic problems and change the attitudes of those still apathetic to the need for such solutions. (Author)
