SYNTHESIS OF SEQUENTIAL ASYNCHRONOUS LOGIC AUTOMATA DESIGNED WITH THREE TYPES OF MODULES,

Abstract

A method of synthesizing asynchronous logic nontime automata designed with A,B,C moduli is reported. The A-modulus consists of a number of NOT elements, the B-modulus consists of a number of AND elements; the C-modulus consists of a number of filters inserted in each feedback circuit and in each output to prevent dangerous contests. To minimize the number of B-modules, each conjunction is realized as many times as it occurs in the fundamental k + or - m equations describing the automation (k = number of inertial subautomata, m = number of outputs of the automation). A 10-step algorithm for synthesizing the automation is set forth.
