SHORT REFERENCE BOOK ON FUELS, TECHNICAL FACILITIES, AND DEPOTS,

Abstract

The reference book consists of four sections. The first section contains information concerning the physical-chemical properties of fuel, oils, greases, and special liquids which are employed in automotive technology, the standards for their consumption, the capacities of fuel tanks and systems, vehicle fuel distances, and the time and scope of conducting analyses. The second section contains basic data on transfer, servicing, measuring, heating, transportation, storage and quality control facilities for fuel and oils, and also on mechanized facilities for loading and unloading operations. The third section consists of material pertaining to the organization of fuel depots and service stations, testing periods for fuel and oil, loss standards for fuel and oil, and testing periods for standards and measuring instruments.
