SELECTION OF THE OPTIMAL (u/(c sub ad)) RATIO IN THE COOLED STAGES OF HIGH TEMPERATURE GAS TURBINES,

Abstract

A study was made of the selection of the optimal peripheral velocity ratio in cooled stages of high temperature gas turbines. The problem was analyzed mathematically and formulas were derived for determining the peripheral velocity ratio for external and internal liquid and air cooling of blades. The presented method can be used for the detailed determination of the peripheral velocity ratio. (Author)
