STEADY-STATE TEMPERATURE FIELD DURING TRANSPIRATION COOLING,

Abstract

A study was made to obtain an analytical solution for a steady-state temperature field under conditions of plane and axisymmetric filtration of a gas flowing at high temperature gradients. The problem was formulated as follows: (a) the filtration takes place in a uniformly porous medium; (b) the temperatures of the porous body and the coolant are equal at all filtration points; (c) in the process of filtering an incompressible fluid, its heat capacity is assumed to be constant.
