THE AIRPORT--ITS INFLUENCE ON THE COMMUNITY ECONOMY.

Abstract

The purpose of this survey is to determine what economic benefits to representative communities have accrued from the development of airports built primarily for use by general aviation with financial assistance under the Federal-aid Airport Program. In this respect, the survey sought tangible evidence of significant community benefit which could be causally related to each airport's development. (Author)
