A DYNAMIC PHOTOELASTIC SYSTEM.

Abstract

Some design data on a modified Cranz-Schardin system with 16 individually controlled spark gaps are described. Application of this system to dynamic photoelasticity is discussed. Also described is the Hopkinson bar calibration system for the determination of material dynamic properties. (Author)
