THE EFFECT OF COSMIC RADIATION ON THE OPERATION OF AIRCRAFT.

Abstract

Data are presented on the variation of cosmic radiation dose-rate with altitude, latitude and solar cycle time. An assessment is made using this data of the effect of cosmic radiation on aircraft operation and aircraft personnel.
