SOME IMPACTS OF ONE-BANK HOLDING COMPANIES,

Abstract

The impacts discussed are some economic, legal and regulatory issues arising from the recent growth of one-bank holding companies (OBHCs). The main economic issues involve the combination of traditional banking activities with activities that have clear links, such as land development, savings and loan services, and insurance.
