A SYSTEMATIC INVESTIGATION OF CONTRAST EFFECTS AND SIMILAR PHENOMENA RELATED TO VIGILANCE TASKS.

Abstract

The report is a summary of research in four major areas: Contrast effects in psychophysical judgment; Contrast effects in the single runway; 'Frustration effect' in the double runway; and Appetitive classical conditioning of the rabbit's jaw movement. The results obtained in each area are presented with reference to detailed reports submitted during the period of investigation. (Author)
