A METHOD FOR DETERMINING RESIDUAL STRESSES IN COATINGS FROM THE FLEXURE OF A FLAT CATHODE,
Abstract
A method of calculating residual stresses in coatings built-up on flat cathodes (rods) is presented. The method is based on the classical assumptions of the appearance of residual stresses in a layer during its application and the change in these stresses during the build-up of subsequent (preceding) layers.
