RADAR TECHNIQUES AND SYSTEMS-MILLIMETER RADAR STUDY.

Abstract

The objective was to construct a Ka band (35,000 mcs) radar from existing radar components and then to study and evaluate the capabilities of the Ka system in comparison to a Ku (16,000 mcs) system. This objective was only partially fulfilled due to a lack of suitable Ku band components and also due to failures of components used in the Ka band system. (Author)
