DERIVATIVES OF 7-AZAINDOLE,

Abstract

Using accessible 3-formyl-7-azaindoles (pyrrolo(2-3-b)pyridine-3-carboxaldehyde), new paths of synthesis of three-substituted derivatives of 7-azaindole were studied. The synthesis of 2-phenyl-4(1'-phenyl-4'-methyl-7'-azaindolyl-3'-methylene-1, 3-oxazalone-5 was performed, and it was converted to 1-phenyl-4-methyl-7-azatryptophan, 1-phenyl-4-methyl-7-azaindolyl-3-acetic acid, 1-phenyl-3(beta, gamma-dihydroxypropyl)4-methyl-7-azaindole and 1-phenyl-4-methyl-7-ozaindolyl-3-pyruvic acid.
