PROTECTION OF LUBRICANTS FROM MOLDS,

Abstract

A method of protecting lubricants from molds by introducing the antiseptic 4-caproyl resorcin (3, 5-dihydroxyhexanophenone) is described. The use of these lubricants is recommended for optical instruments intended for application in moist tropical climates. (Author)
