SOIL CONDUCTIVITY AND ATTENUATION AT SELECTED TUNNEL SIMULATION SITES - VIRGINIA, NORTH CAROLINA, AND TEXAS.

Abstract

Three test sites located in Virginia, North Carolina and Texas were systematically sampled and the samples analyzed with respect to the electrical properties. The electrical parameters, relative dielectric constant, effective conductivity, and attenuation, in the frequency range of 50 to 500 MHz are estimations based on the soil parameters - dry density, specific gravity, moisture content and low frequency conductivity.
