THE COMPUTATION OF LOSSES IN THE IMPELLER OF A CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR,

Abstract

The results are presented of the calculation of losses in centrifugal-compressor rotors using various methods previously described in literature. A comparison of the methods is made with rotor losses determined experimentally and with friction losses determined by means of boundary layer theory. (Author)
