THE RESULTS OF PHOTOTACHYMETER TD-2 TESTS,

Abstract

The document deals with the operation of a phototachymeter. Its improvements include increased operational convenience and some increase in accuracy. The article includes three tables showing the results of detailed factory and production tests of the instrument. Distances of over 3,000 m were successfully measured under field conditions. Experience obtained through operation of Phototachymeter TD-2 reveals that the instrument may be used successfully for traverse surveys, for base leg measurements, and for triangulation measurements.
