THE AVERAGING PRINCIPLE IN NONLINEAR MECHANICS AS APPLIED TO COUNTABLE SYSTEMS OF EQUATIONS,

Abstract

The averaging technique of Krylov-Bogolyubov is applied to countable systems of equations of the form d(x sub k)/dt = epsilon (f sub k)(t,x sub 1, x sub 2,...) (k = 1,2,...). The results are summarized in a theorem.
