THE DESIGN AND FABRICATION OF HYDRAULIC CLAMPING FIXTURES.

Abstract

The report discusses the development of a positive clamping pressure imperative for the efficient fabrication of parts by explosive methods, using hydraulic jacks for clamping a draw ring. By this means it is possible to maintain an even draw from the flange by adjusting the pressure of individual jacks as needed. (Author)
