THE EFFECT OF THE PARTICLE SIZE OF SODIUM NITRATE ON THE PERFORMANCE OF FLARE COMPOSITIONS,

Abstract

The particle size of sodium nitrate is shown to have a significant effect upon the performance of illuminating flare composition. Possible mechanisms of the propagation of a flame front through a pressed pyrotechnic composition are proposed. (Author)
