Abstract

The volume is part of a series of compilations which is world-wide in scope. It consists of climatological summaries for selected airfields and for the climatic areas in which they are located. The volume provides climatological summaries for airfields and climatic areas in the United States. Summaries are arranged according to numbered climatic areas, and by increasing WMO Station Index Numbers within the climatic areas. An arbitrary station number is used where WMO Index Numbers are not assigned. Maps are included to delineate areas and station locations.
