PROPAGATION OF A SHEAR PULSE IN A DISPERSIVE MEDIUM,

Abstract

A laminated half-plane is subjected to a suddenly applied shear stress. The particle velocity is determined using the effective stiffness theory. Far-field results are obtained with the head of the pulse procedure. (Author)
