THE FORMAL DEFINITION OF MACHINE TOOL LANGUAGES,

Abstract

A rough model for machine tool languages is used for clarifying basic concepts. The model describes an MT language by a recursive function that yields, for each input tape, initial state and initial workpiece configuration, the final state and the final workpiece configuration. (Author)
