METHODS USED BY NACA FOR DATA REDUCTION (Les Methodes Utilisees par le NACA pour la Reduction des Donnees),

Abstract

Methods for data reduction used by the National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics are discussed. Fully automatic systems are compared with semi-automatic systems. The procedures in a semi-automatic system are described and its advantages are summarized. Specific examples of semi-automatic and fully automatic data reduction and descriptions of the systems are given.
