PHOTOSENSITIVITY IN EPITAXIAL PbS FILMS, II.

Abstract

Single crystal films of lead sulfide have been subjected to heat treatments involving oxygen and sulfur vapor in order to determine the effect of such treatments upon the photosensitivity at room temperature. In no instance was a photoconductive effect observed. The observed photosensitivity was shown to be of a photovoltaic nature. (Author)
