OPERATIONS ANALYSIS COMPUTER SUPPORT THROUGH REMOTE TERMINAL,
Abstract
The report documents TAC OA's experience with remote terminals to an IBM 360/75 time share system and with The RAND Corporation JOSS system. For each system a description is given of the central computer and the corresponding facilities at the computer site. For the IBM system the operation of both a teletype and an IBM 2780 remote terminal is discussed. Experience that has been gained with a teletype terminal to the JOSS system is also outlined. Finally, the capabilities of the 360/75 system is contrasted with the JOSS system. (Author)
