Abstract

The document is intended as an introduction to the study of chemical reactions in moving ideal gas mixtures. It has two distinct aims, namely, (1) to present an adequate summary of the principles of classical chemical kinetics, which is intelligible to investigators without previous training in chemical kinetics; (2) to provide the necessary basic material for intelligent formulation of flow problems with chemical reactions.
