STUDIES OF OFF-ROAD VEHICLES IN THE RIVERINE ENVIRONMENT. VOLUME I. PERFORMANCE AFLOAT

Abstract

The report assembles vehicle-environment relationships which may be employed in the design of swimming vehicles. It is intended to be used as a guide for engineers who are basically automotive designers. Therefore, many generalizations and approximations were developed which would not be acceptable to naval architects, but which should be extremely useful to an automotive engineer.
