GASOLINE-ENGINE ELECTRIC POWER UNITS,

Abstract

Mobile power engineering has brought progress to the (Soviet) national economy. Mobile power stations, originally developed for military use, are used in all areas of the economy for illumination and power supply. Gasoline-electric power units are described, including their general characteristics, engine, electrical system, and their operation. The special characteristics of the engines are described in detail. Uniformity in design of the power units has increased their production and distribution. (Author)
