OBSERVATIONS OF MOTION AT INTERMEDIATE AND LARGE SCALES IN A COASTAL PLAIN ESTUARY.

Abstract

The immediate purpose of the proposed experiments was to obtain a set of simultaneous Eulerian measurements of horizontal velocities. The specific objective of this investigation was to determine, in the field, how representative a record obtained at one point was of a record obtained at another point as a function of the separation.
