SUB-MILLIMETER WAVE GENERATION AND SPECTROSCOPY.

Abstract

The use of Froome-generators as swept harmonic sources for high resolution microwave spectroscopy has been shown to be practicable. Comparative tests in conjunction with conventional methods have been initiated. Spectra at wavelengths down to less than 1 m.m. have been measured for several substances, and new molecular information obtained. (Author)
