RECOMBINATION RATES OF H(+) AND H(-).

Abstract

Various approximate theoretical calculations of the temperature dependence of the rate coefficient of the mutual neutralization reaction H(+) + H(-) to H + H are presented. Their accuracy is assessed by comparison at 500K and at 1000K with the results of a multi-channel close-coupling impact parameter calculation. (Author)
