PROPERTIES AND INTERACTIONS OF NEW PARTICLES.

Abstract

The general objective of the research is to study the nature of fundamental particles and their production mechanisms. A counter experiment was completed relating the basic coupling constant of some of these mesons to electro-magnetic forces. In addition a search for new mesons gave a negative result for strangeness plus one baryons, but did produce recently discovered Q and L mesons and a possible new candidate for a negative 1 meson. Various properties of these particles and their production mechanisms were determined.
