STIFFNESS MATRIX FOR CURVED-TAPERED AND STRAIGHT-TAPERED SHELL STIFFENERS.

Abstract

The element stiffness matrix and the consistent nodal force matrix for either a straight-tapered or constant radius-tapered shell stiffener is formulated using an assumed displacement method. The resulting expressions for the elements of the matrices are left in integral forms which can be evaluated using available numerical integration techniques. (Author)
