GEOMETRY OF THE EARTH ELLIPSOID,

Abstract

The book develops consectively the relationships between elements of the ellipse, sphere, and spheroid needed for the solution of geodetic problems at distances up to 20,000 km., both by geodetic line and by normal section. In addition, relationships are established between the lengths and azimuths of certain curves on the spheroid which are of particular interest for geodesy. (Author)
