A SPECTRAL CONCEPT OF WIND WAVE ENERGY (Spektralnoe Predstavlenie Energii Vetrovykh Voln),

Abstract

The paper discusses all the elements of wind waves - namely, the height, length, propagation velocity, and period - in terms of random magnitudes subjected to strictly defined distribution laws. It is assumed that the mathematical relationships between the wave elements based on the classical theory of waves are also applicable to wind waves. (Author)
