STATIONARY-LIQUID CLASSIFICATION AND STUDY OF FIXED STATIONARY LIQUIDS IN GAS CHROMATOGRAPHY,
Abstract
The paper presents a classification of 19 different stationary fluids that are used in gas chromatography according to their respective relative polarities as determined in reported laboratory experiments. The relative polarities and separating powers of some mixed stationary fluids as well as the dependence of separating power on length of column were also investigated. (Author)
