EQUIPMENT FOR ELECTRON-BEAM WELDING.

Abstract

The report discusses a recently developed method for welding metals using a powerful electron beam in a vacuum known as electron-beam welding. This type of welding is effective during connection of parts constructed from refractory and chemically active metals: tungsten, molybdenum, tantalum, niobium and others. (Author)
