A PROGRAM FOR COMPUTING ERROR BOUNDS FOR THE SOLUTION OF A SYSTEM OF DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS.

Abstract

In two previous reports, a theory for determining bounds on the error in the numerical solution of systems of differential equations is given. In this report the mathematical details used in developing a computer program which applies the theory are given. The coding, in FORTRAN IV, for this program is listed in Appendix I. Two examples are considered, primarily to illustrate the use of the program. The output from these examples is in Appendices II and III. (Author)
