RESONANT HARMONIC GENERATION AND NON-LINEAR OPTICS.

Abstract

A review of the three year analytical and experimental effort in resonance enhancement of second harmonic generation is provided. An analysis of such effects in indirect band-gap semiconductors is outlined. The application of resonances to studying the stimulated electronic Raman effect in solids is discussed. (Author)
