ERRORS IN THE FACTOR LEVELS AND EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN. PART II. THE CASE OF A FIRST ORDER MODEL.

Abstract

In a previous paper AD-690 133 the general situation when there are small disturbances in the predictor variables and a response surface is fitted, was examined, and a design criterion was suggested to measure the effect of such disturbances. It was proposed that designs be chosen so that this criterion is minimized. In the present paper, this approach is used for the case of first order models, and designs are obtained. (Author)
