CLYCOSIDASES OF ABALONE HEPATOPANCREAS.
Abstract
A number of hydrolytic enzymes were found to be present in cell free hepatopancreas extracts of the Pacific abalone Haliotus rupescens. Particular emphasis was placed on the isolation and partial purification of an alpha-L-fucosidease which is capable of hydrolyzing p-nitrophenyl-alpha-L-fucoside.
