Abstract

The object of the present book is to expound the theory of extrusion of metals in a more complete form on the basis of a systematization and discussion of the published material. The book is addressed to readers having sufficient background in general engineering discipline, the general theory of metal processing by pressing, and physical metallurgy; the basic theorems from these fields are used by the author without any explanation.
