LYAPUNOV'S SECOND METHOD IN ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL EQUATIONS.

Abstract

The research covered by this report includes the following areas: Investigations into the effect of a perturbation on the solutions of an asymptotically stable system; An account of recent developments of comparison methods in the study of stability and Lyapunov's second method; Methods of obtaining sharp estimates for solutions of nonlinear perturbations of linear systems; and, Linear problems on an infinite interval and integral representation for the Green's function.
